Then in 1974, I was discovered by Mr. Julius Blasy, Mayor of Midland, MI. He was also a very special person with an eye for talent. In addition to coaching me in music, he coached several Gold Medal recipients in speed-skating.
He took me on and "pounded polkas into me" and got me on the right path for success.
I will never forget him or his family.
I followed my dreams of music since 1974 with by touring Band, Linda Lee & the Golden-Aires, and after 17 highly successful years entertaining across the United States, I was invited to work at the best place one can work, Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan. They literally took me "off the road" to be their fulltime house
They literally took me "off the road" to be their fulltime house musician and Entertainment Coordinator!
Entertaining more than a million guests a year, I have had the great opportunity to meet guests from all over the world, plus work with many musical celebrities, including Myron Floren and Dick Contino, and many others.
What a great life...and a fantastic Zehnder family to work with, I am now in my 30th consecutive year at Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn.
My mission and ministry in life is through my music, A God-given talent in which I can bring joy and happiness to each individual so that they can forget their problems and circumstances in life and be renewed and feel a new source of energy sent from God above.
Thank you, Lord, for my talent that you bestowed upon me.
Cleanup and packing up equipment is the end result of all gigs.
