Linda Lee
Linda Lee was the full-time Entertainment Coordinator and House Musician for the World-Famous Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan for 35 years. Before she was officially fulltime in Frankenmuth, she was "on the road" with her band traveling the USA and playing at many venues and festivals.
She was also their "goodwill ambassador" promoting German Hospitality wherever she went. In addition to her regular Bavarian Inn Schedule, five days a week, Linda also maintained a private schedule, performing at various parties, festivals and concerts throughout the United States and Canada, and she loves every minute of it!
Working in Frankenmuth at the Bavarian Inn was indeed a real blessing! Linda had the wonderful opportunity to meet people from all over the world on a daily basis. She not only met new friends, but since Bavarian Inn is about "gathering," it was not unusual for guests to come back regularly to reunited with their family and friends. Of course, Linda Lee was always included in their gathering by performing some of their favorite tunes for musical enjoyment, but for some happy sing-a-longs. Linda Lee loves her accordions. Linda Lee is retiring now after her life-long passion of playing good music. She will be performing back in Frankenmuth on a time-to-time basis, as needed. She also will maintain a very music private schedule both with herself, and with her wonderful band. She is available for just about anything that you want music for.
Beginning music lessons at the age of seven, Linda plays the accordion, clarinet and saxophone. She began entertaining at parties and banquets at the age of ten. After she married her husband in 1967, and then became the mother of her three children, Linda organized her first professional band "LINDA LEE AND THE GOLDEN-AIRES." When her children showed an interest in the music business, they were invited to participate under the name of the BROWN FAMILY SINGER'S and they even recorded a record. Now they are adults on their own, living in various cities and states. They still enjoy their music and have remained friends with the fans and musical colleagues.
Linda Lee also has a deep love for animals, especially dogs. She has one furry friend living with her and her husband. She is always eager to come home to Fritzie,a black lab.-mountain Cur mix. She calls him her "polka mascot" as he loves to listen to the polka music that fills the air constantly in her home.
Fritzie was found in Kentucky and brought up to Michigan where Linda and her husband, Roger, adopted him. He is training under John DuBois. John is a retired K9 officer, and he has great hopes for Fritzie. Some of Fritzie's accomplishments this year include CANINE GOOD CITIZEN, CANINE GOOD CITIZEN ADVANCED, AND URBAN CANINE GOOD CITIZEN. We are currently working on other facets of dog training. This is all part of AKC Kennel Club.
This year will mark the 57th Wedding Anniversary of Linda and Roger. It is definitely a huge milestone. Time sure does fly by quickly and our 57 years together have been fabulous! Husband Roger can be seen with Linda Lee on most days as he is her Audio Engineer, helper and best friend.
